Your quality is our future

Once again this year, IP Dynamics hosted the company's internal IPD Summit. On April 25, all colleagues from the various IPD locations were invited to Munich under the motto “Your quality is our future” to talk about the latest developments in the company, listen to exciting lectures and enjoy a varied supporting program.

The summit started in the morning with contributions from colleagues and some guest speakers. In addition to the presentation of a customer project, an insight into software quality assurance and a keynote speech on how people can improve their quality awareness, there was a very special highlight: Benedikt Böhm, international managing director of ski touring equipment manufacturer Dynafit and extreme mountaineer, in his presentation built a bridge from the mountain world to the business world and showed what lessons can be learned from mountaineering for entrepreneurial success.

During breaks, the guests had the opportunity to assert themselves on a ski simulator, enjoy delicious food and drink during nice conversations and marvel at the Munich city and alpine panorama from the outdoor terrace.

In the afternoon, “detective” geocaching through Munich was on the agenda. The task was to find out who Baron Otto von Weinstein was on his conscience and exactly how the murder was committed. Divided into ten groups, the participants tried to find all clues using a few coordinates and a GPS device — including sightseeing. After about four hours and a group thought they had lost, all colleagues came together again at the “Augustiner Klosterwirt” restaurant to solve the murder and honor the winning group.

At a traditional Bavarian dinner, colleagues then discussed the day and ended the evening in a relaxed manner.
