Sporty summer highlight

Once again this year, our Hamburg colleagues made the 16th MOPO relay race in Hamburg's city park a special experience. Two highly motivated teams took part in the popular running event, which not only awakens sporting ambition but also strengthens team spirit.

Together to success

Five runners per team took part, each of whom mastered a 5 km course. In summer temperatures of up to 29 degrees, this was no easy task, but both teams delivered an impressive performance. With finishing times of 2:16 hours (267th place) and 2:33 hours (773rd place), both teams were able to hold their own in the midfield - a remarkable achievement considering the weather conditions and the strong competition. A total of around 2,000 teams took part in the race, making it one of the biggest events of its kind in Hamburg.

After the run, the focus was on socializing. Runners were able to enjoy a picnic with a selection of snacks and refreshments in a separate tent right next to the course. The relaxed atmosphere provided the perfect opportunity to reflect on the day and celebrate the sporting achievements. The first plans for the next MOPO relay race were already being made as the evening drew to a close - the anticipation is great!

More than just sport

The MOPO relay race stands for more than just sporting competition. It sends out a strong signal for cultural diversity and respectful coexistence in companies, clubs and society as a whole. The sporting idea unites and promotes open exchange across all borders.

Another important aspect is the social component. Every year, PSD Bank Nord donates 10 euros per participating team to the Stadtpark Verein Hamburg e.V. The money is used to continuously expand the tree nature trail in the Stadtpark, which provides interesting facts about the various trees in Hamburg and generating enthusiasm among young and old alike. In recent years, over 226,000 euros have already been raised in this way - an impressive commitment to the city and nature.

IP Dynamics will be taking part in the MOPO relay race again next year. Because one thing is certain: we will continue to run together - for sporting success and a strong sense of togetherness!
